POFD 3 Visits Cub Scout Troop 696

Pend Oreille Fire District No. 3 Chief Mark Havener and three firefighters from Fire District No. 3 attended a meeting of Troop 696 of the Cub Scouts to share fire safety information and answer questions. After the safety presentation, the troop and parents toured the district's fire engine. Fire fighters Larry Eldridge, Darrel Ainsworth and Don Thomson helped the Cub Scouts with seeing all of the tools and sitting in the drivers seat.
