» CPR for Family and Friends

At these workshops on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Family and Friends, participants learn what to do in a life-threatening emergency,   With the knowledge acquired at theses two-hour sessions, you may be able to save the life of a loved one, a friend, or a neighbor.  The instructor, a Firefighter and EMT, will help you understand your role in the "Chain of Survival", how to recognize four life threatening emergencies in adults (heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, and choking), and how to perform CPR.

Workshop activities included an instructional video, demonstrations, practice sessions, and handouts.
